This system makes our computers sound a noise and cell phone alarms go off when the GPS tracking of all the trucks notifying and showing that they are not doing what we want them to do. Alarms are typically preset to notify our dispatch if a truck can’t make it to the shipper or destination on time. They are typically set at 65 minutes to notify us if the truck stops for more than that time, if the truck veers off route adding more than 30 minutes to the route, and if the GPS signal gets shut off or stops working for more than 15 minutes to name a few.
